I Am Your Designer

Greetings. I'm Lorén, a local artist born in the City of Brotherly Love.

In my formative years, I found myself most contented while being creative; but yet in a calculated and organized manner. And, truth be told, I started to realize my creativity was getting positive acknowledgement by the age of 10. I had won drawing contests for cereal boxes and school competitions. I received recognition for design and layout - in projects that weren't even art related.

I graduated from Penn State Abington University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. My focus upon entry was Graphic Design, but with my lack of computer experience at that time, I changed my major to Art Therapy. This allowed me to focus on my fine art craft and also expand my interpersonal skills, learning to communicate and mentor in my internship program.

While in college, I worked as a freelance wedding photography assistant shooting with 35mm film, I gained experience troubleshooting hardware via telephone with Panasonic Service, and hands-on casting for Mattel toy company until graduation. These backgrounds and my enthusiasm to produce quality work has led me to my current full time position as a lead designer and sign shop manager for one of the largest wholesalers on the east coast. Today I work with global brands supporting advertisements as well as magazine layout, custom photography and even vinyl installations over a 9 county footprint.

In addition to my full time career, I also work to provide my own clients with the winning design, photography or vinyl application to best support their business.
